Free Lancia Musa Radio Code

Every Lancia Musa from 2004 to 2012: which radio was fitted, where its serial number hides, and what we can do with it.

Your code comes from the serial number of the radio, not from the car — so the first job is getting that number off the unit. The table below is your Musa: the units fitted, and where the serial hides on each.

Already have the serial? Type it in and we will tell you straight away whether we can answer it.

Only needed for a Continental label — it starts with A2C. The two generations build the code differently from the same number. If you are not sure, pick by the screen: the 5.0 is the wider touchscreen. Nothing is charged either way.
That does not look like a Lancia serial — check the table below for where to find it.
We never ask for the code you are missing — only the serial.

Radio names are what is written on the fascia, not the name of the company that built the unit — a “6000 CD” or an “RCD 300” is what you see in the car. Unit fitment varies by market and trim, so treat the list as the usual case and let the serial decide: it is the serial that determines the code, not the model.

From 2004 to 2012 the Musa came with the radios below; the serial on the unit is what decides the code.

Lancia Musa radio code (2004–2012)

On Musa cars from 2004–2012 the radio fitted was usually one of: Blaupunkt CD, Bosch. The serial reads BP…; label on the casing — the BP… serial of 14 characters (a long all-digit number is the part number); the unit has to come out of the dash. We can work it out, and while the rule behind it is still being confirmed the code is free — all we ask is that you tell us whether it fitted.

How to enter the code in your Musa

  1. Turn the radio on — CODE appears on the display.
  2. Blaupunkt units (BP… label): the code uses only the digits 1 to 6. Press the preset with the number of each digit once — there is no confirm button; the radio starts by itself after the fourth digit.
  3. Ypsilon from 2011 (the display asks for a Password): turn the right-hand TUNE/SCROLL knob to set each digit from 0 to 9, press it to move on, and press it once more after the fourth digit.
  4. After a wrong code the radio makes you wait longer each time: leave it switched on until it asks for the code again, rather than guessing.

Careful: most units lock for good after about ten wrong attempts. If a code does not take, stop and email us before trying again.
