How to Find your Maserati Radio Code

Maserati head units ask for a code once power has been lost. Which number you need depends on the unit.

The Harman-built 8.4-inch touchscreen fitted to the Ghibli, Levante and later Quattroporte carries a 14-character serial starting T00BE. The older Panasonic-built units are keyed to a short one: five digits on the casing label.

Either way the unit has to come forward out of the dash to read it.

Enter the whole T00BE… string exactly as printed, or the five digits — a longer number beside them is a part number rather than the serial.

How to Enter your Maserati Radio Code

  1. Quattroporte and GranTurismo with the Bosch navigation screen: set each digit with the rotary knob below the display — owners report the on-screen keypad does not take the code.
  2. Ghibli and Levante (8.4-inch touchscreen): type the four digits on the screen and press OK if it appears.
  3. Becker units (3200 GT, Coupé, Spyder): enter the five digits on the buttons beneath the screen, in order.
  4. Some units start by themselves after the last digit; others need a confirm key. If nothing happens after the last digit, tell us what the display shows rather than pressing other buttons.
