1. The service. UnlockMyRadio.com calculates original car radio security codes from the serial number you provide. Every code we can answer is provided free of charge; a free code is delivered by email 24 hours after the order is placed. Optionally you may pay to receive the same code immediately instead of waiting; that price is always shown before you pay. Where we cannot work out a unit's format, we tell you so and charge nothing.
2. What we do not promise. We work the code out from the serial you give us, and we say so plainly when we cannot. We do not promise that every unit has a code we can reach, that a code we send will be accepted by the unit, or that the radio will work afterwards — a unit can be faulty, already locked by earlier attempts, or from a family we have not yet proved. Where a code comes from a rule no owner has confirmed on a live car yet, we tell you so when we deliver it, and we never charge for it.
3. Your input. The code we return is only as good as the serial you send. Please copy the serial exactly as printed on the unit or shown on its display. If a code does not work, contact us before retrying — many radios lock permanently after around 10 wrong attempts, and we cannot reverse that.
4. Lawful use. The service is for the owner or keeper of the vehicle or radio in question, or for a garage acting on their behalf. By submitting a serial you confirm you are entitled to unlock that unit. We keep a record of each request, we decline bulk and reseller requests, and we answer lawful requests from the police.
5. Payment and refunds. Payment for an order is for immediate delivery only, is billed once, and there are no subscriptions. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy — in short: full refund on first request.
5a. Optional tips. After you confirm that a free code worked, we may offer you the chance to leave a tip. A tip is optional: it is a one-off payment for a service already completed, it does not buy anything further, and you receive exactly the same whether you tip or not. The amount is your choice and is shown before you pay; PayPal lists it as “Optional tip — for a completed service”. If you change your mind, write to us and we return it in full.
6. Right of withdrawal. As a consumer in the EU or the UK you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a contract for digital content. When you pay to skip the wait you are asking us to start delivery immediately, and you accept that this right ends once the code has been shown to you. It changes nothing in practice: our Refund Policy is more generous than the statutory right and gives you a full refund on first request. A free code involves no payment, so there is nothing to withdraw from.
7. No affiliation. UnlockMyRadio.com is an independent service. Vehicle manufacturer names and marks are used solely to identify compatible radios; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any manufacturer.
8. Liability. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service — and a free code carries no fee to refund. We are not liable for a unit locked by wrong attempts, for hardware faults in the radio itself, for removal or fitting work, or for loss of use of the vehicle. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
