On the same label as the serial: BE and four digits, for example BE 4715.

Look at the display: count the dashes it shows for the code. If it wants five digits, count the numbered buttons that actually enter them — a five-digit Becker code is built only from the digits 1 to that many. Some radios have more buttons than they use for the code, so count the ones you press, not the ones you see.
Please enter the 8-character serial from the unit label — eight digits, or a letter and seven, like R2035446.
Code delivery time: free — 4-digit code in 24 hours or instantly if you pay; 5-digit instantly for a share

How to Find your Porsche Radio Code

Porsche fitted Becker head units for years — the CR and CDR players are Becker-built, and they ask for a code once power has been lost.

The serial is on the label on the casing, so the unit normally has to come forward out of the dash to read it.

Eight characters and nothing else — a longer number with letters through it is a part number, not the serial.

We hold the full Becker tables. Porsche owners have confirmed our four-digit codes, so those come free in 24 hours or instantly if you pay. Five-digit codes have no Porsche confirmation yet: a share unlocks them and we ask you whether it worked.

How to Enter your Porsche Radio Code

  1. Turn the radio on — the display shows CODE * * * *.
  2. CR-220 / CDR-220 (ten keys under the display): type the code directly — the leftmost key is 1 and the rightmost is 0. Nothing to confirm: the radio switches on after the fourth digit.
  3. CR-210, CDR-210 and CR-11: enter the digits on the presets, then press the station ^ rocker to accept.
  4. After three wrong codes it shows WAIT: leave the radio and ignition on for about an hour, and don’t keep pressing.
  5. CDR-23, CDR-24 and PCM have no code to type: a replacement unit is matched to the car by a Porsche workshop.
