Every Alfa Romeo 145 from 1994 to 2001: which radio was fitted, where its serial number hides, and what we can do with it.
Your code comes from the serial number of the radio, not from the car — so the first job is getting that number off the unit. The table below is your 145: the units fitted, and where the serial hides on each.
Already have the serial? Type it in and we will tell you straight away whether we can answer it.
| Generation | Radios fitted | Serial | Where to read it | What we do |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 930 1994–2001 |
Blaupunkt CD and cassette | BP… | label on the top or side of the unit — the number under the barcode starts with BP | Free in 24 h, or instant if you pay |
Radio names are what is written on the fascia, not the name of the company that built the unit — a “6000 CD” or an “RCD 300” is what you see in the car. Unit fitment varies by market and trim, so treat the list as the usual case and let the serial decide: it is the serial that determines the code, not the model.
From 1994 to 2001 the 145 came with the radios below; the serial on the unit is what decides the code.
On 145 cars from 1994–2001 the radio fitted was usually one of: Blaupunkt CD and cassette. The serial reads BP…; label on the top or side of the unit — the number under the barcode starts with BP. Send us that serial: the code is free by email within 24 hours, or on the page straight away if you pay to skip the wait.
Careful: most units lock for good after about ten wrong attempts. If a code does not take, stop and email us before trying again.
930 (1994–2001): BP…, label on the top or side of the unit — the number under the barcode starts with BP.
Yes. Every code we can answer is free and emailed 24 hours after you order; a small fee only skips the wait.
Turn the radio on — CODE appears on the display. Blaupunkt units (BP… label), the MiTo and the older 156 sound system: the code uses only the digits 1 to 6. Press the preset with the number of each digit once — there is no confirm button; the radio starts by itself after the fourth digit. After three wrong codes the radio locks for an hour or more. Leave the key at MAR and the radio on until CODE comes back — switching off restarts the wait. Other units (Alfa’s own AR… label): tell us what the display shows before you try — we have not confirmed the entry steps for those yet.
Every card here is a code an owner told us worked, tied to an order we can check. Codes that did not work are not shown here, and a fee paid to skip the wait comes back automatically.
