Every Alfa Romeo MiTo from 2008 to 2018: which radio was fitted, where its serial number hides, and what we can do with it.
Your code comes from the serial number of the radio, not from the car — so the first job is getting that number off the unit. The table below is your MiTo: the units fitted, and where the serial hides on each.

Radio names are what is written on the fascia, not the name of the company that built the unit — a “6000 CD” or an “RCD 300” is what you see in the car. Unit fitment varies by market and trim, so treat the list as the usual case and let the serial decide: it is the serial that determines the code, not the model.
One format we do not cover. The unit does have a code — we simply cannot work it out from that serial yet, and we would rather say so than take your money and guess. Nothing is charged. If you have this unit, tell us: a single confirmed serial and code is what it takes to close the gap.
From 2008 to 2018 the MiTo came with the radios below; the serial on the unit is what decides the code.
On MiTo cars from 2008–2018 the radio fitted was usually one of: Bosch CM8526/CM8527/CM8528, Blue&Me. The serial reads CM…; these carry a Bosch label starting CM — a format we do not read yet, even though the code exists and others sell it. We cannot work this format out yet, and the page says so before you leave any details.
Careful: most units lock for good after about ten wrong attempts. If a code does not take, stop and email us before trying again.

Turn the radio on — CODE appears on the display. Blaupunkt units (BP… label), the MiTo and the older 156 sound system: the code uses only the digits 1 to 6. Press the preset with the number of each digit once — there is no confirm button; the radio starts by itself after the fourth digit. After three wrong codes the radio locks for an hour or more. Leave the key at MAR and the radio on until CODE comes back — switching off restarts the wait. Other units (Alfa’s own AR… label): tell us what the display shows before you try — we have not confirmed the entry steps for those yet.
