Every Dodge Avenger from 2007 to 2014: which radio was fitted, where its serial number hides, and what we can do with it.
Your code comes from the serial number of the radio, not from the car — so the first job is getting that number off the unit. The table below is your Avenger: the units fitted, and where the serial hides on each.
Already have the serial? Type it in and we will tell you straight away whether we can answer it.
| Generation | Radios fitted | Serial | Where to read it | What we do |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| JS 2007–2014 |
Becker, Alpine, Uconnect | T00BE… | label on the casing; the whole T00BE serial is all we need | Free in 24 h, or instant if you pay |
Radio names are what is written on the fascia, not the name of the company that built the unit — a “6000 CD” or an “RCD 300” is what you see in the car. Unit fitment varies by market and trim, so treat the list as the usual case and let the serial decide: it is the serial that determines the code, not the model.
From 2007 to 2014 the Avenger came with the radios below; the serial on the unit is what decides the code.
On Avenger cars from 2007–2014 the radio fitted was usually one of: Becker, Alpine, Uconnect. The serial reads T00BE…; label on the casing; the whole T00BE serial is all we need. Send us that serial: the code is free by email within 24 hours, or on the page straight away if you pay to skip the wait.
Careful: most units lock for good after about ten wrong attempts. If a code does not take, stop and email us before trying again.
JS (2007–2014): T00BE…, label on the casing; the whole T00BE serial is all we need.
Yes. Every code we can answer is free and emailed 24 hours after you order; a small fee only skips the wait.
Switch the ignition to RUN and the radio on, and wait for CODE. If a touchscreen says Radio Locked, Please Start Vehicle, start the engine — that is not a code request. Alpine units (label TQ… or TC…): press the preset whose number is each digit, once — for 5452 press 5, 4, 5, 2. These codes use only the digits 1–5 (five presets) or 1–6 (six presets). There is no confirm button: the radio starts after the fourth digit. Other preset radios: press the preset buttons that match the digits, in order. If the radio does not start after the last digit, tell us what the display shows rather than trying other keys. Uconnect touchscreens: type the four digits on the screen and press the confirm key if one appears. After three wrong codes the radio shows WAIT: leave the ignition in RUN and the radio on for 30 minutes without a break (older Alpine units up to two hours). The 4-digit DATE CODE on the label is not your radio code.
Every card here is a code an owner told us worked, tied to an order we can check. Codes that did not work are not shown here, and a fee paid to skip the wait comes back automatically.
